No, if this treatment is indicated it is included in your consultation.

Do I need a referral/Does medicare cover Physiotherapy?

A referral is not necessary, although it is a good idea to consult with your GP or specialist for continuity of your treatment. We will work and communicate together to ensure the best outcome for your needs.

You may be eligible for a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) or Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) which can provide a partial rebate for up to 5 allied health consultations. Chat to your GP to see if you meet the requirements.

Can I attend Physiotherapy for treatment of a Workcover injury?

Yes. You will need to inform us of the Workcover/third party insurers details and your individual claim number. The insurer will be contacted to ensure you have approval for treatment.

What do I wear?

Bring loose fitting clothes. If you are comfortable – shorts and singlets are ideal. Bring appropriate footwear for exercise/walking/running. If you have particular shoes that cause discomfort, please bring them.
